Hey guys! Back for about three seconds after a long absence, mostly caused by the fact that I'm very much a fairweather forum poster--I'll be here every day for long weeks, then will vanish for awhile, then will come back....

Anyway, I found this article on the connection between insomnia and serious depression really interesting, and rather enlightening as well. Couldn't resist posting, as I felt it might help a couple of you.

ALL my Insomnia=Depression (interesting article) Insomnia=Depression (interesting article) Insomnia=Depression (interesting article) to all of you!!
(that much will never change, despite how little or how much I'm here),

Interesting - I've been trying to go to bed at a regular time and wake up when the alarm goes off. Difficult some days...

Great post. I totally believe this. Sleep disturbance is a major factor in a lot of psychiatric disorders.

Wow, if only someone had told me this say, of I don't know, twenty years ago?

I take a bunch of meds just to be able to sleep. Even then my body clock is so screwed up even WITH meds I don't get to sleep usually until around two in the morning . . .

So very much fun.

I discovered for myself that sleep pattern is one of the main signs that tells me to consider seeking a T. I am glad that I have learned this because I had trouble sleeping and a lot of crying for two weeks which got me to go see a T. If I hadn't have gone to see a T then my grandma's death would have knocked me off my feet. So, if there is any doubt. Please take good care of your sleep time. I have also mentioned to my T that I have been particular about my sleep for the past decade because of this pattern of mine. I am glad to see that scientists also know about this pattern.
