I just never feel fulfilled. I am always distracted by the conversations going on in my head. I feel like I don't connect to people. Is work just something we do to distract ourselves from these feelings? What is life really all about?

Sometimes work is our only distraction. But finding other hobbies help us get away from those thoughts running through our heads. I try to read when my mind is quiet enough and when it's not I try to listen to meditative music to help soothe the mind chatter. Meditation also helps.

Life is about moving forward regardless of what it throws at us. Sometimes it's hard and other times it gets easier, but enjoying the little things gets me through. Like the beauty of a flower or the sound of a rain shower. Petting my dogs.

I hope you find distractions that help you get through the tough times.
