Well I went to see the pdoc today for the first time at the low-income clinic. I liked this pdoc. She took me seriously. The therapist did not. She is putting me on Prozac. I am willing to try it again. Maybe it will work this time. I have an appointment with a new therapist on Aug 6. I am also supposed to see the nurse in 6 weeks to evaluate my medication. Then I am supposed to see the pdoc in 3 months. I have also kept myself busy working on projects. I am helping my husband set up a photography business on the side. I am also looking into going back to school.

For some reason I am very tired, exhausted and it is only 12:30. I don't know why I am so tired and unmotivated.

Hi waterknob,

Wow!! You have got a lot going on for you!!
So I'd say you have a right to be tired/exhausted right now!!
But they're hopefully/sound like a lot of positive things
So really pleased for you that you've been developing some hopefully real helpful/forward looking things in your life and even making achievements!!!
Just make sure that you're getting enough "time out"/as much "you time" and "rest time" as you need though...........you/anyone can do so much

Alison

Tired is understandable with all you have going on, never mind that living with depression can be exhausting. Well done for being proactive anyway. Be kind to yourself, you deserve it!

I understand tired. I suffer from it a lot.

Sounds like you have a lot of good things going for you right now. Just take breaks to rest and relax and you will make it through.

Congratulations on starting your husband in his own business. My son-in-law is thinking of doing the same thing. He already works in public relations and takes photos for business but would like to branch out into private work. Good luck to you and your husband.
