sometimes sleep cycles can be disrupted, for whatever reason, and, in my opinion, that is exactly when medication like Temazepam can be useful, with a low risk of becoming addictive.

I just gave this advice to a friend IRL.

maybe, just maybe, I am not completely worthless and useless as those abusers repeatedly rammed down my throat

Abusers like to project their own @#$%! onto those they prey upon!

Therefore, you are correct in your assessment that you are not either of those things!

Lots of medications used properly are very useful. This is well established over decades. The key is in using medications properly, cautiously, appropriately and finding the right medication. One example is depression medications. Many people take more than a couple of attempts to find one that works without side effects that diminish their quality of life. I feel bad for those that have found that no med has helped so far. It is important to encourage them to keep trying.

Fuzzybear, don't listen to the opinions of your past you are far from worthless. Think of the person you value most. You are a human being like them and therefore worth as much! Also, on top of that, you help a lot of people to feel worth more than they felt before. That makes you very important in a lot of people's lives, including mine.
This is the truth now.

I agree.

Both the following are possible:
  • depression > disturbed sleep
  • disturbed sleep > depression
Working on "normalizing" sleep is among the important steps to take in combating depression.

I second Fizzyo. No better way to put it.

I bet I'm not the only one to join your fanclub Fuzzy.

You are loved, you are appreciated and you are very much a welcome part of our lives.

Fuzzybear, don't listen to anybody who would try to make you think you are worthless. You are not worthless, you are special and valuable and wonderful.

So many times when I was at rock bottom you gave me encouragement, kindness, and help. You are great, the best.
