I've let every friendship/relationship I've had die off because I'm too afraid to engage in a conversation. The entire world terrifies me... I have no money to refill my medication and have just had it with how cruel the world is.

hi WallTennis

I'm sorry you are not feeling good. The drug companies will give free medication to people who have no money if they meet the income criteria. Also, some doctors will give free samples. There may be free clinics in the area where you live where you can get free medication and counseling.. Have you applied for Medicare?

There is Nami the organization for the mentally ill that you can Google, and contact them to find out what services they run in your area. They are very good at helping people with problems. In many areas they do run peer to peer support groups where you can make new friends. Fellow sufferers make the best ones. I hope and pray everything gets better for you soon. Take care. God bless and best wishes from your friend Francis

Hi WallTennis,

My advice is to live in your senses for a while and live in the present moment. Seek out and concentrate on purely sensory experiences. Go for a walk, see, hear, taste, smell and touch richly. Your senses are your friends. They are trying to heal you.

When you are depressed, you can be not only afraid all the time, but also afraid of your own feelings and afraid of situations that might make you afraid. See these notes and see if they explain what's going on. You will find a thing to do in the notes that may break the spell if you practice it a bit:
