I don't think it works like that... if your dose gets upped, it would only be by a little at a time. Sorry you're feeling sad though.

Well I hope you DO contact your meds doctor and/or your therapist if you have one. Suicidal ideation should be taken seriously. Having a crying jag can be healthy sometimes and it's no reason to go upping your meds, but thinking about ending it might be.

I'm glad your last post was recent, and that you're still here. Let your doctor know what happened! They'll be able to advise about your treatment plan okay?
Thanks for this!

hi detour1,
I would think twice about upping your Zoloft . talk to a psychiatrist about it . I was Zoloft and my old psychiatrist jacked it up to 275 mgs daily back in 2007 . the most the Zoloft will go up to is at least 200 mgs once a day .

Diagnosis: Anxiety and depression
meds : Cymbalta 90mgs at night
Vistrail 2 25 mgs daily for anxiety prn
50 mgs at night for insomnia

Sorry, I thought you were already planning to speak with your doctor.. agree it would be a good idea to do so soon, and let them know, your doctor and/or therapist, how you've been feeling, when it started etc. Sometimes it takes a few adjustments with medication over time, to find a good fit; they might even suggest something different armed with more information from you about how you've been feeling with the zoloft.

Good luck

Hi i met with a school therapy today and that went well, she helped me make a social story about the problem i am having. I requested that i see the therapy weekly, i guess their are working on it.
