Hi everyone, (This is my first post)

I am a male in my early twenties. I have a myriad of problems including major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety, ADD, delayed sleep phase syndrome, and insomnia that no sleep specialists have been able to pin down. Bad genetics I suppose, my mother has horrendous schizophrenia.

Anyway, I was on wellbutrin for about 2 and a half years and finally was able to get off it a few months ago. Going through the motions...

However, my depression has come back in full force. I'm usually fine during the day but my mood just crashes to the bottom of the blackest levels of the emptiness of space. Are there any other treatment options I should discuss with my doctor? I have been through most of the motions. One of my problems is my body metabolizes and gets things out of my system much quicker than average.

All SSRI's are out of the question, my body freaked out on them.
Wellbutrin "worked" but started rapidly losing efficacy during the last year I was taking it, which is why I started trying SSRi's.

Ive been on klonopin now for about a month and it works OK with a low side effect profile but makes me a bit of a zombie, plus its not a long term solution because of its addictive potential.

I've done all the lifestyle improvement things, eating healthy, trying to exercise as much as I can but nothing seems to work.

I'm seeing my psychiatrist in a couple of days, any suggestions?

Thanks so much in advance for any advice!
