I'm currently getting treatment for depression, gad, and ptsd. I'm on medication. If I have a personality disorder or a mood disorder, how long does it usually take to be diagnosed if I'm having certain symptoms? After 12 months of treatment? I been on treatment for about 5 months and my psychiatrist checks in with me very often.

I'd say it would take a good 6 months minimum.
Thanks for this!

There is no 'usual' personality disorder that NEEDS to be associated with it. You say you've been diagnosed with depression, GAD and ptsd. That means you've been diagnosed with a depressive disorder. And that you also have ptsd and GAD.
If you really think you have a personality disorder, ask for opinions from other psychiatrists.
