i had a wierd dream last night. i was wondering if anyone wanted to offer insight as to what it means.

It starts off at my old house that I moved out of about 5 years ago. I grew up there. Im hangin out with my friend Courtney, and she has this red bird. I fall in love with the red bird, so i try to steal it and run away, but Courtney and 2 of my other friends try to beat me up to take it. I pull out a gun to fend them off, and one of my friends shoots me in the foot with his gun. My gun has no bullets in it. I run down the road and hide in some bushes and wait for them to drive by, then i run back to my house and drive away. Then Im old, and out on a little boat at sea with the bird. The bird is getting wet even tho he has a wet suit on, so i put him in a little plastic ziplock baggie to keep him dry. We get hit by a huge wave, and he starts to float away, and Courtney shows up in a helicopter and takes him away and leaves me.

My first thought was that it was her stealing my heart, but shes a lesbian and im not attracted to her, so i dunno. Im not very good at this kind of stuff but it seemed like it might be important

Are these friends still in your life, or were they left behind when you moved? It sounds to me like there is something that maybe you miss about them, or that you want from them that they have not been willing to give you. Maybe it is friendship or love? Can you think of anything? Whatever it is, you and your friends seem to value whatever the bird represents a lot.
