I have no friends living around here anymore, no one ever calls or messages me, I feel lost and forgotten. One friend has come back into the area for a few days and cancelled on me three times this week alone. I sit in my parent's living room night after night with nothing to do growing more isolated and comfort eating. I can't go on like this anymore, I don't want to go on.

Hey there! I know how isolation from depression can be. It creates a void within you that you can't fill. As hard as this may sound, maybe joining a support group might help you. You will be surrounded by people who feel the same way and it will give you a chance to connect with others. You can search for groups in your area. If your friends don't contact you anymore, then that's their loss because they're missing out on being with a great person. The pain can be intense when friendships dissolve but once you make an effort to connect with others again and make new friends, the pain becomes less and less. I am wishing you the best!

I know the feeling. I only have a few friends as it is, and I never spend time with them because of the depression. I'm supposed to be going out tonight, I can't remember the last time I left the apartment to socialize.
