|
I am feeling pretty depressed and so anxious. I can't seem to find a medication or combination of medications that works for me. I'm worried what will happen when I run out of options.
Does anyone have any experience or advice? |

I have a ton of experience but not much advice.
I have been trying different meds and combo's for 20 years. Some don't work at all, some work kind of OK, I find one that works pretty good and it poops out. The one I am currently taking has worked better than anyone I have ever taken. Fetzima. A newer SSNRI. It has been two years and I am now at the highest dose. Not a magic pill but has worked quite well over all. I am also afraid I am running out of options. |

Hi Clancy,
I'm afraid I have run out of medication options. I know that's no encouragement for you, but there are non medical options and courses which can help us live better with who we are, (a good option even when medication helps) and there is always new research. Hang on in there, things can always change. Best wishes and warm thoughts coming your way.

You might look into Ketamine. Pretty promising results and it is being used by some pdocs clinically.
Also there are some newer SSRI's and SSNRI's. Fetzima Brintellix Viibryd
