I am depressed again and some of this may be coming from that....But I am having a hard time reading the forums without getting majorly triggered....I don't want to leave because I will isolate myself even more from people, but I can't handle alot right now without getting triggered....Has anyone else felt this way and how did you deal with it?....

I know how you feel, in fact I'm going through that now.... Not Sure What To Do....

I really dislike putting people on "ignore" but sometimes if there are a few individuals posts that regularly trigger or hurt you that's an option. Sometimes it doesn't have to be for very long, just until you start to feel better. Or you could close your PM box and PM "special" or good friends first to let them know..... Only viewing certain forums is anoher option.....

great question! i just started posting a week or so ago. it is definitely hard to read some of the posts.

i'm feeling a little less stressed tonight - so i thought i'd read and reply to a few more than i usually do.

i guess maybe that's how to handle it - read and reply when you feel up to it and post your feelings whenever you need to.

by the responses already it looks like we all feel the same way and all understand that sometimes reading the sadness in others lives isn't best for us - but that doesn't mean we don't still care

take care!! (((((hugs))))))

Pick one or two forums that comfort you and not trigger you for now. ((((hugs)))) Try some of the social fun stuff...push to do it until you feel better?

I had some-one ask me about this. Sitting here on PC writing about depression breading depression. Told this person until you are dealing with the monsters we are he would never understand. Yes, I too agree, you can't grind yourself here in a couple of threads that drag you down, or all thoughts have been exhuasted.
Go to chat, there's so many other neat forums that are light hearted...

Thoughts are with you...................

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
