This is the first time I've done something like this, but I honestly can't talk to anyone around me. I was diagnosed with depression and PTSD last year, and after some hospital stays and therapy, I've been doing better, but I still feel like I'm slipping. What are some things some of you do to help make yourself feel better?

Welcome Azaveve! I'm new too. As far as what makes me feel better, I'm still figuring that out. I'm hoping talking things out here might help. I personally like to draw and stuff when I'm feeling a certain way. If you are into something like that maybe give it a shot. I think it helps me to conceptualize what I'm feeling.

Welcome! I hope you feel you can reach out here to us and get lots of help and use from this forum. There's really many different ideas on what helps. For me, making myself do things when I'm really down is so difficult, so I find ways to encourage me. One of them is reading up on these forums, music also, writing out my feelings here.
I hope you feel comfortable sharing more of yourself, I find that helps me a lot.

Sorry you feel so low and isolated.

This is a great place to share.

People here have helped me through some dark times and I hope you get as much encouragement from this community as I have.

Hello. When I could afford therapy my therapist taught me meditation techniques. Meditating for 5 minutes would break me out of most anxiety cycles. I could get things done. That's a thing I do to feel better.
