I found this on Reddit and thought it was worth sharing:

Otto von Vosmarck should be the patron saint of suicide watch

Otto Von Bismarck:

1) Spent early years in a drunken mess, it was feared he would never become anything important. Fought many duels including one with a sausage that had cholera in it.

2) Had constant existential doubts and crises. Did not really achieve anything until his 50's.

3) Threatened suicide on multiple occasions.

4) Dismissed from his job by Kaiser Wilhelm II. Very quickly everyone realised how silly Wilhelm was and there was outcry. Bismarck wrote his memoirs as a big 'I told you so' while Wilhelm went and helped begin WW1 something Bismarck had predicted and warned against.

5) Remembered as Germany's greatest ever leader and his political tactics have been adopted by pretty much any leader of any worth since.
Not bad for someone described as 'reckless eccentric' eh?

Bismarck's life should be testament that those at the bottom will not necessarily stay there forever and those at the top can easily tumble down.
I am aware that this forum does not permit 'it gets better' messages and the above is certainly not that. Just simply a historical example of someone who everyone underestimated until it was to late (too late for them anyway, not too late for Bismarck). If there is a problem with the above message let me know though and I will be happy to remove it.

Pretty cool and uplifting stuff.

talking about they dont want to see the truth, or how things should be, or whats wrong, or who's really right... they just want to be led by a 'Sheppard' so they can keep their head in the sand and devoid of such responsibilities

such as the people against Bismarck?
