my description of a true friend has always been:

someone who understands

someone who is with you through the good and bad times

someone who will listen

etc etc

it allready sounds like this person is overwelmed and can't take you for who you are

i've only had 1 experience of this... my friend laura was the same

she was a really active person who enjoyed life and had everything on a plate.

she was good to me, but she ended up telling me too.. it's too much, the talk of death, the talk of hurting yourself, etc. it's too much.

and that friendship ended because me and her were 2 oppositte ends of the scale if you like- while she was positive and sure of herself i wasn't and she couldn't handle that

And that's the thing I don't even share things that are that bad. Like I don't share anything about depression and hating life.
