as i read my last post i realized what i was so frustrated about. i'm tired of fighting the same battles over and over again. i feel the old anger/rage rising to the surface and it scares me. i'm not that person anymore.... or am i? i am resisting the impulse to take a tramadol or 2 just to stop feeling and to sleep for a while.

I too feel like I'm in a futile battle with my depression. The only thing I look forward to is going to sleep! But, I did switch to a new pdoc today in the hopes that I'll find a better med. Also getting a genetic test that supposedly indicates what meds might work best for me. I know, all too well, how miserable this battle with depression can be. Don't give up hope, try something different...

Depression is remarkably repetitive for such an emotionally draining affliction, but so it is. I'm sorry you're being hit so hard by it right now.

I love your quote, Stillintending, I am a big fan of CS Lewis. Thank you for your understanding. It does help to realize that i don't walk this path alone.
