Sorry Mindinpieces. Hiding is not optimal but if it is what you need to do right now to stay OK then that what you should do. It is a better option than giving up. Please do not give up. Fighting depression is strenuous if you need to hide for a bit to regroup consider it a tool to help cope. Hope you won't hide from PsychCentral... We understand.

At moment I'm not hiding but in past I have like I would never leave the flat in months that how come I got 2 year employment gap. I am going to finish my last two exam of university next week, even though I will probably fail I'm hoping I would get enough marks to get into next year of university, I going to see mental health advisor as well go talk about how I have slacked off this year and got myself into pickle over work. I'm looking for summer job and failed one interview already. Thing is I got interview next week on Friday but I've applied to same company before and failed interview do scared I will fail again. I'm scared for summer I won't be able to get job and be unemployed which mean depression will creep back also I've I have failed this year of university and don't get back into next year then I nd stuffed again unemployed and failure.

When I go for an interview, I'm interviewing the employer as well. I've gone for interviews, asked my own questions and left thinking "Nope, not for me!"

When I view interviews in that way, it reduces my anxiety of being interviewed. It goes both ways. It has to be a good fit for both me and the employer.

The interviewing process can be stressful but I take it as a learning experience. If I had no clue what to answer for a specific question or think my answer was weak, I think of something better for the next time. There's always the same questions that keep coming back so I focus on those. The others, I answer to the best of my knowledge.

As for the exams, you haven't failed yet. Give it your best shot! You can do this.
Thanks for this!

Starting to think of cancelling my interview I've been to interview more than once with this employer and failed each time, is it worth going through that again?
