As anyone else ever found that sometimes even if they are having a good day and meds are taking effect a situation or something happening can cause your mood to drop quickly.

In short, yes definitely. I tend to be overly sensitive, not sure if that's due to the depression or not, but even small things can push me down if I let them.

I find it happens as well. Fortunately my routine doesn't vary much so I don't have it as often.
