I'm feeling pretty crappy, and it looks like I'll be up all night feeling sorry for myself again.

I am sorry, is there anything you can take tomorrow night to help you sleep?

The only thing that helps me when I go through bouts of insomnia is exercise, but not too close to bedtime. That can be cardiovascular or weight training. There are nights when I take melatonin, valerian root, and antihistamines. I still toss and turn. Luckily for me, I like to read, so I get a lot of reading done on those nights.

I think sometimes fighting insomnia is the worst thing to do; just get up, watch TV, read, clean, pray, meditate, whatever. For me, if I'm tossing and turning, I find myself worrying about lack of sleep, which contributes to the insomnia.

Hope you sleep well tonight.
