Well I'm hopeful, at least.

Since the depression came back in February, I decided to fight it this time. I've been back at counselling for nearly two months, including sessions with my beloved boyfriend and sister, and saw my doctor this morning for advice about medicines... Some of you here helped me get over my fears of going on meds, so thanks heaps for that...

I've been put on a low dose of fluoxetine hydrochloride, to start with. (I don't know much about it, so anyone with any info, whether good or bad, feel free to PM me or post it here.) And still going to counselling.

I'm in a good patch that's lasted several hours now, (no it's not the meds, I haven't actually taken any yet lol) so I just wanted to say that I'm... hopeful, I guess. I can see the light today... I hope everyone else can see it too!

So glad you have decided to take steps to get better. I had to read the advice to see someone over and over again her at PC before I took action -- and within two days, I was feeling enough not to have check into a residential facility.

This is great news, Meander. Keep us posted.

Stefano, yes I'm a girl, otherwise a lot of people in Women's Support would be real annoyed, haha.

Thanks for the good wishes everyone!
