I saw my daughter this weekend and it nearly broke my heart. She asked about being put back on my husband's insurance, she is 24 so it shouldn't be a problem. We only took her off because she got married last year.
I haven't told my husband that what i'm planning, because we just don't talk about the fact that our child is transitioning. But I saw first hand this weekend how much pain she is in. She still dresses and acts male around us, but this weekend her discomfort was obvious. I just want to ease her pain and have the transition over with. my heart hurts. I don't know how my husband will feel about putting them back on his insurance, but I feel that we have an obligation to take care and help our child as much as possible.
Maybe I'm an idiot, i just don't know anymore!

I'm so sorry for your situation..

You're not an idiot. You're kind, and you love your children. If everyone was like you, the world would be a better place.
Thanks for this!
