Everyone has a passion, or a talent. Something they're good at. Not me. I fail at everything I do. The only thing I do all day is play video games and I'm even bad at that. I'm worthless. I wish I could say I was a failure but to be a failure you needed to show promise to begin with. I wish I was a failure. Every day is filled with excruciating boredom, because I have nothing in my life. Just the next game I download to distract myself from my worthless existence. I know people say that you need to keep trying at things, and that's how you get good at them. But I don't have the interest or self-esteem to fail at something a thousand times.. I'm fated to be a worthless piece of ****.

Sounds like you have a definite passion for video games. Like you said though, this hobby can take entire days, so you won't have the time or inclination to learn/develop interest in anything else.

Trying something and then deciding you aren't interested in it isn't failing at all, it's just deciding that it isn't for you. lol, I have tried many things over the years...and most got tossed to the side eventually. Our interests and passions change, and that helps make life interesting.

Video games can be harder than what people think. Especially ones like skyrim or inqusition. What settings are you on. Try novice till you get the hang of it.How you play a game does not define you. Also getting away from the game a few days would be a good idea. Go for a walk or call an old friend. Go see a movie or try the library.

Just because you don't have passion or interests right now doesn't mean you are worthless! Feeling like a failure sucks.. sorry you're feeling this way. I hope things get better

Are you able to get out at this point in your life?

Volunteering can be amazingly fulfilling...yes, you will be brilliant at it.
