Haven't posted for a while.

Had too come off Anti Depressents, haven't received counselling yet and on Monday I had an anxiety attack first for a little while.

Been busy with work, thinking about bills too pay off and other things plus helping friends. So not sure how I feel right now.

Questions I'm asking myself

1. Am I still depressed
2. Have I realised nobody really cares so I might aswell be happy
3. Are my family and friends right in saying think positive not negative or accept what's in the past and move on
4. Do I still need treatment or am I just asking for attention

Hello Eamgr: Thanks for sharing your thoughts. The thoughts you're having are similar to the ones I often mull over.

Am I depressed? (I get up every morning & do everything that needs to be done. Sometimes I do more than that.)

Have I realized nobody cares so I might as well be happy? Well, for me, it's not exactly that nobody cares. It's more that they just prefer to imagine everything's okay. They don't know what to do with my mental health issues. And they really don't want to be troubled with them. (I don't either... but I don't have a choice.)

Think positive & move on? I'm working on it.

Still need treatment? Nah... what's the point? Besides, my personal opinion is that attention is highly overrated.

By the way, I'm no longer on antidepressants either nor do I see a counselor or therapist...

(Are family and friends right or wrong... Well there may be a little more to it than that... But we are the owners of our brains )
