i bet in america a shrink would not come to your house for a gold pig, But my nurse sally //// yes we get free nurse after 65 she has told him i am fragile and she thinks i may top myself , i think there going to ask me to take ECT to rattle the brain around , i will say yes i have ran out of meds to try and i have just done a 3 med trail . one after the other all failed. I havent the strength to do another i am nuked . Feels like i have a house brick inside my head , I AM LOW , has low has anyone can go ,and we dont no of any med to try again. he wants to talk the way foward with my care , its more like 2 steps forward 10 back . I WONT TOP MYSELF unless i can keep 3 litre of russian vodka down without puking , people never overdose with meds you need a tuck load to kill you and then you would not die . I USED TO TAKE MY FRIEND EVERY OTHER WEEK TO A-E overdosed , there was a hole corridor of beds with overdoses , they all went home in the morning, dont humiliate yourself with an overdose, the staff dont want you your taking up space for car crash victims. My friend DID KILl HIMSELF IN THE END HE WAS 42. bought some heroin /// never taken any in his life . now he can overdose he did he died and left a wife and young baby.

I'm hoping the BEST for you, NukedAngel. Let us know how it goes with the nurse coming over.

WELL GUYS . I am on the big guns now OLANZAPINE its generic vilazodone i didn't think they would script an ANTI PHYCOTIC med . But no SSRI or SNRI will treat my anxiety. I have used all the meds the shrinks have over 35 years , so i am in the last chance saloon. only 2.5mg to start with but it works straight away no waiting, and it really does. i take it with my lorazepam, will move up tp 5mg soon if no major side effects. its 1 of if not the most likely to make you fat ??????? but so is mirtazapine but i have been on that now 5 months and not gone up in weight. mostly because anxiety that would burn ever calorie you eat . i just don't eat sweet stuff and dont get the munchies. i just eat less than i did .

There is a book called "why am I still depressed" it touches on why some people find no relief from antidepressants. Some people can actually be bipolar but present as mostly depressed. If an anti psychotic is helping ...it's likely that is what is going on with you. I was diagnosed as clinically depressed for decades. Then I found that book. I talked to my pdoc about it and she put me on a low dose of AP. I have a lot less anxiety and depression now. I also sleep better.

low doses of antipsychotic meds are ofter used in chronic anxiety because they work from they word GO like a benzo . its not a bipolar thing its just the med to do the job , that ssri or any other won't touch chronic anxiety , but thanks

thanks for this , i think you are right , shrinks never probe your illness, they throw ssris at you and it works to a degree , they leave it at that. If they decided to look deeper into your illness they would find more bipolar people, everything falls into place with me , i can see it but because my depression lasts way way longer the the manic , they asume i am in remission when manic

You probably cold get a shrink in America if the whole farm was gold and after the visit you left. Psychiatrists are the lowest paid of all specialties, female shrinks have the highest Suicide rate , but aside from all those gun facts , make sure you get periodic blood work done and your Doctor watches for any metabolic syndrome, Olanzapine is very well known for causing diabetes and heart attacks (all of the atypical APRS carry the risk) .if it helps take it but if it does not, seriously consider getting off it if not.

I AM well aware of the danger.s of mood stabilizers . The limit for my age is 5mg a day in ENGLAND . The alternative is there is no alternative, I have used all meds on the planet in 40 years , the alternative is DEATH if you have a way round that i will take it . i have already had half my organs removed so a few more wont matter . i live for today there may be no tomorrow
