Recently I was diagnosed with major depression. Everyone around me thinks I don't know what true depression is, so they make fun of me. That caused me to attempt suicide. I hate to admit I need help, but can anyone help me or just chat?

I'm sorry you were diagnosed with depression. It is a horrible decease. Hopefully, with treatment it will get better. It's hard for people who don't have it to understand. Just ignore them and try and get better.
