Hello to Everyone, I have been offline for a couple of months now - just trying to come to terms with a few things. I feel that I am lost and just managing to tread water for the last couple of months. Nothin is what I had thought or hoped they were and I am not even sure why I am here. Maybe someone can identify with my complete inertia, loss of identity and sense of self. I now realise that I am on my own and I cce

Sula--I have been wondering about you. It is not surprising that you are having trouble with your sense of identity. I know you are a mother like me and that you don't get to see your children that much (How old are they? Either you didn't say or I don't remember.) Some of us put our all into motherhood and when our children move on, there is a void and it takes a while to figure out how to move on. It is even tougher to move on if we have any unresolved issues from that period of time in our life. I appreciate you so much in so many ways and remember many of the things that are causing you pain. I will pray for you today and during other times as well. <<<big hugs>>>

I can actually identify with you.
Feeling inertia, uncertainty about identity and a sense of self. Don't know which path will be suitable for me in life.
That stuck feeling feels strong to me lately.
Today I met with a close friend I have since junior high school. We hardly meet, but the meeting was easing - we both talked about our struggles and thoughts about the interpersonal aspect of life, we talked about other people too.
It was very comforting to have such conversation with a friend.
