Sula B--It is so good to finally hear from you. I truly love your gentle and kind spirit. I am sad to hear you are still suicidal but understand that it is not your fault and the result of your life circumstances and genetics. It is so hard to know which one of these plays the greater role in our depression. I am very lucky that I have not been feeling much depression lately (though there are days). I credit much of my recovery to accepting that I need to take my psych meds. Due to paranoia, I started and stopped taking them multiple times last year. At Thanksgiving, I was not taking much medication and I spent the entire holiday on an emotional rollcoaster. What was scary about it was that I was actually experiencing many of the emotions that I had when I attempted. In mid December, I decided to go back on them and at least stay on them until the holidays were over (until January 1st). Since Christmas was so much better than Thanksgiving was, I have been taking everything my psychiatrist prescribes me to this day. I am so lucky that there are drugs that are helping me. I have also been going to church and praying regularly which has been very helpful also. Sula, I will pray for you and I hope that you will be able to find more joy in your life.

Our Superbowl in the US is famous and there was a commercial in it that made me laugh. Here it is:

The actress in this commercial also has some funny movies (of course some are better than others). Recently, I enjoyed watching the movie "Spy"-- it made me laugh....
