This is the worst depression and anxiety I have experienced. I know why so I just accept it even though it hurts. There has been no closure in major problems for over a year not one has been resolved and new ones added like my family not supporting me. I'm still not divorced, I have no Income, my physical health is worse and I have no doctor or ent that will help me. The duration af this is what is making everything the worst. Then the fall out after it's over will hit.

I have been independent my whole life. I always worked and lived a quiet life. I always worked had no problem holding jobs 1one 6yrs 2 18yrs. Never had to rely on the government programs so I have no control anymore of my own life. I can't stand it my freedom is gone.

Hi Eyeclosed,
I am sorry you are going through this. I don't want to disagree with you but maybe invite you to try to see this from a another perspective. In the US, and due to the American Disability Community, I learned that the most important thing for an independent living is not that you pay all your bills or that you don't need support ever. Living independently means you take the initiative and organize your life. Eventually, you may need support from public agencies and others but still you are in charge. And you have the right to self-determination. It is a basic human right. Income support or personal assistance are snecessary to achieve equal opportunities. Remember, you have the right to self-determination. Please, see the support you are getting as something temporary. Don't let anybody to call you a burden. And remember you have already contributed to society through taxes and so, and you have supported others. In this way our social fabric is made. We need to care one for the other.
Sorry I am preaching.
I am sending you a hug

Thank you all for your kind words. The truth is this is the first time I found this forum and this is where I should have been all along How did I not see it? That's why I think I need to confess to myself I need help as in assisted living I don't care for myself because I can't I won't make it another year taking care of a house and all the responsibility there is to it.
