So sorry I didn't have time to write more...

I would like to hear anyone's experiences with Prozac...I have only taken one so far...it's a debate I'm having with myself whether to continue.

TIA!

I have tried both and found out the same thing , I am seriously allergic to all of them , AD have put me in ICU twice , the first time was for 6 months with cascade multiple organ failure. SSRI, SSNRI ,TRI, all was much the same, the one I am not allergic to Mirtazapine(Remeron). I am a Doctors worst nightmare, I am allergic to so many drugs , when something is wrong with me they can't play polypharmacy until something sticks, they have to actually put some thought into it and consult with many other doctors to find something relatively "safe".

I've taken both Wellbutrin and Prozac, but not in combination. Prozac gave me anxiety and motion sickness, but of course, different antidepressants have different effects on different people. I have bipolar II disorder (primarily depressive), so Prozac might work very differently for people who have depression or some other condition.

Right now, I take a low dose of Lexapro (escitalopram) with Lamictal (Lamotrigine). I have no side effects from the Lexapro and it gives me a gentle energy boost while the Lamictal stabilizes mood swings (e.g. teariness, irritability, hypomania).
