Has anyone tried anti-depressants (specifically Prestiq) for situational depression? I have been on anti-anxiety meds for about a year that have really helped my overall mood and functionality, but I recently experienced a bit of an emotional blow that has me reliving some bad memories and going down the rabbit hole to depression again. My pdoc suggested thinking about Prestiq as it just went generic. We have also done some testing that showed it's one of the only antidepressants I can tolerate. She told me to talk to my therapist about it first, but I have some reservations. Just wondering about other people's experiences. Thanks!
