I would have thought he knew how much I disliked labels, but he had to say "you're the worried well"

This was very inaccurate even then, as well as harmful.

I know, I "should" forgive him, I "should" forgive all of them for all their blunders.

I "should" forgive the other medics who "dxd" scary physical stuff with no symptoms...

A noose around my neck

There's nothing that says you should forgive. Doctors should know better than to say such things. Doctors are meant to help, and if they don't, if they make it worse, that is on them. It isn't your fault.

I can't remember when I first joined here...maybe 4 years ago...and in that time I have never seen evidence of you being a horrible person. You have always gone out of your way to reply to others, offer support and hugs. Horrible people don't do that.

I wish your pain would ease. You don't deserve any of this
