Yesterday I was basically okay. I went to bed last night okay. I woke up this morning more-or-less okay. But today I went into a depressive episode. These episodes recur. From experience, I know an episode is transient . . . self-limiting. But, at the moment, I'm barely a notch above useless.

All this seems to have been triggered by getting a tooth pulled on Thursday. Also, I'm told one or two more teeth are going to have to go. Unti Thursday, I'ld never before had a tooth extracted. Now, suddenly, I feel like an old used car ready for the dump.

I see now how losing teeth diminishes the appetite. I just had two pieces of heavily buttered French bread for dinner.

I have no interest in anything.

I'm sorry you are going through this.
It's interesting (and scary) how events can trigger these episodes.
Thanks for this!

I feel that having a medical and dental procedure can get me into depression. Especially with having your teeth pulled. I've had a few of those. I wonder if the nova cane can cause depression? I've had depression when I have a filling.

I have Percoset for pain. It also eases the depression.
