Any chronic illness increases the likelyhood that you will suffer from a mood disorder or anxiety , last numbers I saw were around 40%-60% greater chance people suffer with depression than there healthy counterparts.
It's also a common triad that people with diabetes frequently have hypertension and sleep apnea.
