... everyone would be better without me. I have been a burden on my family for the past six months and I'm trying to fix it. But I can't seem to become more self reliant. I haven't had a full time job since January fifth and I was fired from all my part time jobs. So I'm jobless, depressed, broke, my life is seems so pointless

Those are all things that can be repaired or could be start over entirely. I know right now, it doesn't seem like that, and could very much seem permanent but it's not. Sometimes, to combat the thoughts of being a burden, you must write down an old fashioned t chart. On one side put the feelings, other side you put the physical or verbal evidence to back it up.
If that doesn't work, well, I'm here to vent to.
