Heart broken perhaps
You thought this year was a struggle wait until next year.
Who says that to their friend?

I feel sad. Yes there is a lot going on for this person that said it. And yes I've been ignored or interrupted often once again. Time in and time out. What for right.

I just try to be patient and let it roll off. But the comment she made really gets to me.

I'm very sorry to hear that. I'm not very clear on what went on with you and your friend, other than what she said.

I can relate to that. It's about my sister. For a good many years in my life she had been very nice and special. But in the last decades she had changed and not nearly as cool and nice as she used to be. There are so many times that I keep on giving her a chance to be back to her old self. It hasn't happened.

Lately she doesn't call me that much. She used to call me a lot more. She has a cell phone plan that she can call for free on weekends. When I do talk to her, she sounds very tired a lot and does not do well with conversing. And she gets cranky and condescending at times. For an example, when I talk about a friend who gets on the wrong side of me, she would say - "people are not perfect". She always says that to me.

I hope that you feel better soon.
Thanks for this!

Thanks. It's probably just that people get busy and run down. We shouldn't let it control us. One comment I shouldn't let it get under my skin. I appreciate your response. I hope you and your sister get back on the same page. This friend we are close and she didn't mean it the way she did and I am maybe sensitive too at times. People we trust the most are sometimes the easiest to hurt, be free with etc.
