My husband and I are very depressed over the loss of our two dogs this month. But my husband was particularly attached to one of them and is having trouble dealing with her death. I don't know how to help through it. I know it takes time. I'm doing fair but I went to the pound and rescued a sweet little dog which makes losing my Scooter easier.

The passing of furry companions cuts deep.

Losing our furry friends is really hard, I'm still not over losing my dog 2 years a go. I often cry when I think of him.

I'm sorry for the loss of your pets. It will take time. Please be gentle and compassionate with your husband and yourself. I don't know how you can help your husband other then to shower him with love and keep him busy. Maybe your new dog will ease some of the pain. Best wishes....
