Just wanted to ask this rhetorical question...
Will this feeling of deep shame and inadequacy and never good enough ever go away?
Because I've been living with it my whole life and even though I've had moments when I thought hey, I'm actually okay, it was still there and it seems to never leave, whatever I try.
I don't want to feel this anymore, I want to live but not like this, this is not life.

I don't know. I wish I did. I wish I could say without a doubt yes. But I just don't know. Sorry you feel this way, I can relate

Me too. I'm trying to get over it by making peace with my past and my mistakes. Remember that every single human being has faults, some seem worse than others but no one is perfect. I hope you feel more at ease with yourself soon.

I totally understand. I know how that feels. I'm a work in progress in that area. Slow but steady with therapy and self help books. I hope you continue to heal as well. Keep your spirits up. You'll get there. You're not alone and you deserve to feel good about yourself. Best wishes....
