My pdoc just added a small dose of Abilify to my Zoloft. I'm concerned that it's going to blunt my emotions. Of course, I want to get my depression and anxiety under control, but I still want to be able to feel--not just in my life in general, but also in therapy, which I find very helpful. Anyone had a good experience with Abilify that didn't blunt their emotions?

Also, is it common for people with depression and anxiety who are on SSRIs to need augmentation?

I take Abilify 10 mg to augment my antidepressant. It did help me with depression and anxiety but overall I don't think it blunts my emotions.
