My pdoc just added a small dose of Abilify to my Zoloft. I'm concerned that it's going to blunt my emotions. Of course, I want to get my depression and anxiety under control, but I still want to be able to feel--not just in my life in general, but also in therapy, which I find very helpful. Anyone had a good experience with Abilify that didn't blunt their emotions?

I'm taking 5 mg of Abilify. It doesn't blunt my emotions and has helped my depression. I probably need to go up on the dosage. I've had some pretty strong emotions panic wise the past few days. Best wishes....

Also, is it common for people with depression and anxiety who are on SSRIs to need augmentation?

I take Abilify 10 mg to augment my antidepressant. It did help me with depression and anxiety but overall I don't think it blunts my emotions.
