Hi guys,
I've not had to post for a long time because I finally found a set of medications that have truly turned my life around. However, I have fallen into some really bad hardships and things aren't looking up either. Just to give some examples I'll list them here.

1. I lost my job
2. My car got repossessed --which living in a rural area with no public transport makes this a really big deal.
3. I am out of refills on my medicine and I'm not sure when I can see him next. Hopefully before my insurance runs out.

As a consequence of this and many other things, I've not been sleeping and I just don't know how to go forward with all of this hitting me at once. I guess what I really need is some support, not so much financially as I do emotionally. I feel so alone because I cannot turn to my family and let them know about any of this. It's just not a good situation.

I don't mean to come here and complain about how bad I have it, I just needed a sense of support, even if it is in virtual form.

Thanks for this!

Well I don't live were I want to live for the same problem lack of transportation ,no buses or anything which makes everything exponentially harder , I used to have a CDL but had to turn it in due to lack of nerve or muscle control residual from my disease , job is long gone and never coming back.
Call your Prescriber and tell them you are ought , ask them to call in refills , it is customary to provide refills to get you through to your next appointment, if you run out and wait you could be a victim of "second chance syndrome" many psychopharmacolic drugs don't work as well or at all if you go off them and then back on , its pretty common and sucks , so don't let yourself be a victim blow the docs phone up get them called in and find away to connect with your meds, its not good for you to lose control of things and get stuck in rut , no matter how alone you feel , your a member of a group with lots of members some declared some still think "it's just them" , being rural is very isolating to begin with dont let MI make it worse .

Peace

In your shoes, I would sort of push aside everything else and concentrate only on getting refills. Do you have phone anxiety, to where you don't like calling the doctor's office? Maybe get a friend to sit with you while you make the call. Are you out of money for refills? Maybe your provider has samples, or maybe (I know it sucks) you can get a friend to front you for a month.

Good for you for posting. Got to identify the problem before you can do anything about it!

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
