I'm at my dad's. He's trying to help me find a job. I feel so useless, everything is so hopeless. I feel like a burden and an embarrasment. Poor dad that he had to have a son like me.. Suicidal thoughts come rushing back after I had two good days. I just want to die, not wait anymore just do it. I have about 2 months before I run out of money, so I have to do it before then. I don't want anymore, I really just don't like being in this world...

I am sorry you're feeling like this. I can understand where you're coming from to a great extent. I gently encourage you to try and keep going. Your father is helping you to find a job and therefore thinks you are capable of obtaining one and sees potential in you. He believes in you and is in your corner. I couldn't help but notice the quote underneath your post. Wise words of truth and optimism right there. I encourage you not to give up hope. Things really can change for the better and the glorious light of the sun can make the dark nights worthwhile. Even during the dark nights, there are stars shining. There is support around you. I am also available to talk and listen whenever. Just letting you know. Hope you feel better soon.

I've been where you are for the last few days. Today has been a lot better. Don't you think if you hang in there some better days will come for you? It sounds like your dad is trying to help you. Would it be devastating to him if all of a sudden you were gone?

I'm sorry to hear you are feeling this way.
![]() I think it's awesome that your dad is trying to help you find employment, I hope you are able to find a job that suits you. Sometimes it takes a while to find a job that clicks and is compatible with mental health issues we have. For me, it's stocking shelves at Canadian Tire. Simple work, mostly solitary, and you never stop moving. Think about what you want from a job - working alone or with others, desk job or moving a lot, etc. You deserve something that fits your skills and interests. |
