I don't find that chrisis lines help me, at all.

everytime i've rang them, i've been... not let down by them, but surprised at how much more support they could have given but didn't.

I often find it's just like talking to a close friend who understands you, (like someone you've all ready explained it too), and I hang up.. not feeling
worse than before, but feel like i've just wasted the last half an hour talking to them, just for them to tell me something that anyone could have told
me.

what are your thoughts on chrisis lines?

I haven't rung one but I just wanted to say it's so good to hear from you. You've not been on for a while and I was worried about you. I hope you are OK.

Crisis lines, not particularly helpful imo

It's helpful only for the fact that they listen imo

I called a crisis line once and they called the police on me, I had to call my husband home from work or they weren't going to leave. I just wanted to talk to someone who wasn't emotionally attached to me. I think I would use Jennifer's text line if I need to in the future

Hate them, I have only used them a couple of times and once they told me to go for a walk and that was at 2:00 am.

It depends on who you're speaking to.. sometimes they're helpful, sometimes not really. Occasionally there can be real jerks but that doesn't happen often. I'd suggest to try anyway, usually the worst that can happens is that you just feel the same way as before. So I'd say it's worth trying.

I've called before, but I don't trust them. They could give bad advice or call the police on you in many situations. I use online therapy when I'm freaking out, to be honest. At least that is anonymous.
