This has been my experience over decades in this world.

Mostly, I stuff my pain.

If I, rarely, talk about it, I'm told I'm "weak" or "attention seeking" and that "we all get depressed and complex ptsd? What's that. You're making excuses. and i was anxious last month. Use distraction, get over it"

This world is too sad and sick and I'm too "broken"

"The more pain the less support..."

I wish that weren't so, but too many stories exist exemplifying it.

You stuffed your pain for a long time. You tried to let it out in a formal setting. It should have been "safe" to do that there. It turned out otherwise.

I can't explain why some people react to others being vulnerable, depressed, or anxious with what looks like dismissive criticism or even contempt. I don't understand the psychology of this. Perhaps empathy lessens when people are stressed out themselves?

I agree... I don't believe anyone really understands... It's like it's coming across as attention seeking or over-reacting to other people. That just makes you feel like you can't even trust anyone.
