Something on the horizon

Have you ever been waiting for something that's just around the corner? This thing, is important to you, and while you're waiting for it life seems empty and unimportant. Everything you do to occupy yourself is impossible to get involved with. Time slows to a crawl and you keep on looking at the clock. Every time you do you let out a sigh and go back to the mindless, unfulfilling activities you're barely engaging with to pass the time. It's boring and soul-sapping and you wish you could just fast forward to the important bit.

Well, that's kind of how I'm feeling at the moment, except the thing that I'm waiting for will never happen and the waiting is forever.

Writing this passed a couple of seconds, and that's the only point in it. Write a reply and I'll read it and that'll pass a few more.
