Seriously .. If I died now, who would care?

Ok, I know some of you will say "I would care" and I am grateful for that, really I am. But this goes deeper than that.

If, for example, you are bold enough to put up your hand and say "I care". Would you then be sure I was buried, or would it be like the others in my family. "I don't have the money." "I can't get there." "Depends on what's going on at the time, can't promise anything."?

Not that I am going to die soon or kill myself or etc but really, when people can't even be bothered to think enough of you to do those things, it makes you wonder.

What purpose is there in this life?
Obviously nobody is ever going to care.
I can't do jack so that's out.
So ... what purpose would there be?
Be a stepping stone for others?
I make a good one of those!
But what good is that?

Seriously, who cares ... about any of it? Especially as it concerns me...

Nothing except people are shallow. They are selfish. They are greedy. It's all about them. How they look. How they feel. What they want. What they need.

Doesn't matter about others - not really. They might put up a good front, but when it comes time to REALLY show it - they run. I know we aren't supposed to bring up religious text, but this is a teaching most (if not all) teach, though it may be worded different. The biblical wording is "love thy neighbor" also translated as "love one another as you have loved yourself". That is something humankind gets a grade "F" on. We fail on it. We are too stuck on ourselves to think about others. Heck, we even are taught "think of yourself first, nobody else will." Consider what would happen if everybody else tried to put one another's needs and wants above their own. How many of us would be in this position now? How many of us would be bitter?

The sad fact is though, it's not going to change. At least not within my lifetime, unless a miracle takes place. So then, I have to "drop back n punt". But because I really don't want to contribute to this chaos of not caring, it means I continue getting hurt Oh well. Right? People suck.

life's a ****ing *****.

you're born in to this world (just as a new canvas is put up for sale in a store)

you are tasked with painting the canvas however you want, and you could end up... I don't know, with everything you ever dreamed of, let's say.

you might end up creating a real work of art. something that not only you are proud of, but everyone around you is proud of

where am I going with this?

well, just like a canvas can be ruined with splodges and miss use, life can be ruined too- with things that come along that make the painting (or life ) blurry

but, unlike a canvas (which will be around for ever), this mean thing we call time comes along and says, I don't care how good the painting is, I don't care what you're doing, rich or poor, employed or unemployed, young or old, this is all the time you are getting, and that's that. you don't get a rerun, that's it

so **** life because all in all it means **** all.

even if you are the best at living it's taken away from you.

it's all a big load of blah

I feel that too. Especially living in a big city with a lot of people around but everyone is only in the race for themselves and everyone else is just in the way.

I can't lie, if something were to happen to you, I would be hurt and probably wouldn't be able to cope. I would probably try to deal with it the same way that I'm dealing with my step father's passing which is become ice cold to others emotionally and trying to avoid feeling like the plague. If I lost you as well, I would probably break.

So yeah, I would care.
