I was trying not to post this

I was really trying not to post this, but it has been really wearing me down. I'll probally get laughed at but I'll try any way. - My wife and I went to dinner and shopping afterwards. We left K-Mart at closing time and when we got to our van, two girls and two guys all looked in there twenties came up to us and started making fun of me. We tried to ignore them and get in the van but they wasn't having that. the girls grabed my wife and held her against the van and made her watch the guys beating me up. I got knocked down and the manager came out of the store and I guess that scared them so they kicked me in the ribs and ran. I was taken to the hosp. and the police came to ask questions and when they saw me they just seemed not to care anymore. Anyway nothing was ever done. They said they couldn't find them. Maybe it doesn't matter to anyone but it is really tearing me apart.

sounds like you might have some post stress. and it not being valitdated as a real crime just rubbs it in your face. NOT COOL! the police should be ashamed of thier selfs. it was a hate crime one of anger. so sorry you are going throught this how is your wife doing? how are you doing>? maybe you should call the police office and talk to a sargent in charge and tell them how they treated you wether he belives you or not atleast you tried instead of hiding the pain and the incident. in your mind maybe it will help validate the incodent-onyx ps pm me any time you just want to talk

Thank you, I have tried many times and so has my wife to get the police to do something, but nothing this as Julia and Nina knows happened a few weeks ago. I'm sorry, just writing this is hard. enough to make anyone cry. I can't go on

What a bad experience for you! I don't know why the police acted so badly towards you. Could you make a complaint about the officers who turned up?

Thanks to all of you, Just knowing some people care seems to ease the pain somewhat. Here tho, we're afraid just to leave our flat, not knowing if it'll happen again.
