I’ve just wasted 3 hours of perfectly good time to do something, anything. I could have gotten a nice cup of coffee and say outside enjoying our first bit of cooler weather here in Florida, could have gone to the gym, could have worked in the kidsbohoto albums like I intended on doing. It’s always so nice to have a project finished. Their albums have taken me years to finish. My youngest still doesn’t even have any pictures in it. I’ve probably forgotten or lost all the dates I was going to write in it for him. One day they will like to look back at it and see that their mom cared for them, that she smiled.!that she could finish a task and it turned out really nice. I could have had a good morning and filled it with good things. But instead I was surfing the web and got stuck on the Beretta site.

I’m sorry you’re having a tough time. You’re not alone. I’ve felt like this for the last week and a half. Could have put it to good use and just...didn’t or couldn’t. Going to stop beating myself up over it though and get started on anything. Everybody wastes time every now and then. I hope you feel better soon. ((((Hugs)))).
Thanks for this!

So I did work this morning, and it felt great. I felt useful and needed and relevant. But that feeling wears off, and as I sit here waiting to get the kids, I find myself contemplating poor choices...start drinking (why? I don’t know, I don’t “feel” stressed or the “need” to). I do feel “busy” inside, like jittery and racing, but I don’t know from what. Sometimes when I used to feel this way I used to do harm myself to help “ground myself”. Stupid thoughts mostly. I wish they’d stop. Maybe if I sleep they will stop. Waste of time. I’m always looking for time to do things, and now I am just wasting it

Unfortunately they called me off work today, I was looking forward to going in and being productive and seeing colleagues again. Instead I got some stuff done around the house, but I’m kicking my Friday off with a drink before noon, not a good sign

We all go through that. It is not the end of the world or a pattern of procrastination. Next morning or next time you will have the opportunity to do something pleasant, as long as we are still alive there is always a chance to start from 0 and change the old habits. If you relapse, you just get back up on your feet and move on.
Be well.
Thanks for this!
