I have been depressed for almost a year. No one knows or cares and I'm not even in high school yet. I've lost interest I. Sports, I have one or two friends and I'm terrible at everything. I just want to die. I don't want to force my problems onto other's, so I haven't told anyone.

Telling others is not "forcing your problems onto them". It's actually the complete opposite. People who like and love you (and I'm sure there are a lot) will be glad to know that you trust them enough to share your feelings with them. And they will be glad to help you.

Don't give up. The world is a brighter place than you may realise at the moment.

Hello and welcome to PC. You’ve come to a very caring, supportive environment. Please keep posting and talk to us. You aren’t burdening others by letting them know you are struggling; particularly those people who love you. Please let someone know that you are feeling so discouraged.

You can definitely talk about your problems on the Forums. It has helped me to realize that people do care about what is going on with me, and will offer advice to help in any way that they can. I also recommend getting help off of the internet as well, it was very hard for me to tell my parents that I felt depressed, but I eventually was able to get better because of it. My family was very supportive in everything about my mental health, so I am sure that yours will be too. It is hard to suffer in silence, and I suggest you attempt to let your feelings out. This is a battle you can fight with others Believe me
