I have come a long way from crying ,staying in bed all day kind of days. Now a days I can manage . The thing that are difficult are
1.Getting out of bed in the morning.Takes me abt 30 min to open my eyes after my brain is awake and another 30 min to actually get out of bed.

2.Doing anything needs such an effort! Takes me a lot of effort to motivate myself.

How can I improve my day? I am not on meds and according to my therapists questionnaire I don't have much depression to qualify for any treatment .I have tried music, phone etc to distract myself from my thoughts but nothing helps me to get up and do things.

I’m sorry, I tend to suck at advice about how to “do things” . But there are people here who can help

Not sure if these will work for you but.... I have one of those alarms with light, makes it much easier to get up in the morning when it's still dark outside. I also don't have my alarm next to my bed so I *have* to get out of bed to turn it off.
Thanks for this!

I have a light box and that helps me wake up. Also set yourself small, short term goals every day. Just little things you want to accomplish. Take time to pat yourself on the back for everything you are able to do. There was a time I couldn't get out of bed. When I made it to the couch finally I was ecstatic. Small victories matter. Cut yourself slack when you can't do it too. It's all baby steps.
Thanks for this!
