so I haven't done this but it's been a very rough past day and a half for me. usually it is just me myself who fights thru this, alone.
I laid down a while ago and tried to sleep but just couldn't! so I've been up the whole night. my mind is having a REAL hard time with all the negative thoughts. so I'm awake, sitting at the computer, listening to some positive music and playing spider solitaire. anyone got any advice??? |

Distracting yourself and keeping yourself busy, like you're doing, is the best option. Maybe try to read some books?

yeah, doing somewhat better. still not sleeping like I usually do or could, so not sure what's up with that. (part of it may be from family stress crap) but thanks.
it was just pretty rough that day, ended up being awake like 34 hours with only a two hour nap in the middle. just trying to be flexible with myself, knowing these things happen from time to time. was just kinda unexpected cuz that hadn't happened in a while. didn't do any reading as I'm a visual person. so I was on the computer for a while, playing spider solitaire and then looking at some info about tv shows. then later, I watched some tv and tried to stay distracted. |

i just don't know why i'm fighting myself so much the past week and a half! it's almost like a whole new level of my depression, and not a step up either. |
