Hi everyone.

I just need to vent a little, and maybe get some advice if you guys have any.

I'm currently on 40MG if Celexa and 40MG of Adderall every day. The Celexa didn't seem to be working as well anymore, and was making me super sleepy, so the Adderall was added on. It's helped a LOT. However, this winter I've really noticed that from the afternoon until it's dark, I have an extreme bout of depression. It's almost as bad as before I was medicated at all. I've tried rearranging my medication schedule and it's not really worked.

I don't know if maybe I should ask my psychiatrist about trying a new antidepressant? I understand not every moment of every day can be perfect, but this is a low so low that I get suicidal thoughts, and it's every day at the same time. I'm dealing with my depression throughout the day, but it's manageable until noon. I do feel better once it's dark, but my mood is never as good as it is in the morning.

Any help is appreciated.

Yes you should inform your Psy. Dr. as this could end up being very dangerous to you, and it sounds like you don't want that. Your Dr. may change your meds until the two of you find the one, or ones that will work for you. My thoughts, and prayers are sent your way, and I pray it all works out for you!!!!!!!
Thanks for this!

You do need to tell your psych Dr. Absolutely.
Sundown and less light in season change can be tough times for many.
